Simple and functional. They allow for covering early morning chill on the arms without needing a complete base layer. No complaints functionally. The only warning is that they are pretty tight on the wrists, to the degree that I can't push them up easily. I can see that is not really a problem, as if one was pushing them up then it'd be time to take them off. But just thought I would mention it. I have reasonably large wrists and so that may be the reason. Not so tight as to be uncomfortable. No problems with the upper arm and they fit well and stay in place easily. Usual high quality Icebreaker merino cloth.
