The joy of this book is that you can make your own frozen treats and know what has gone into them eg fresh fruit etc. So no yukky preservatives & chemicals. As well as ice lollies it contains recipes for granitas and water ice, sorbets & sherberts, cool drinks and ice cubes with a difference... all made with healthy ingredients. For my taste there is far too much sugar used in the recipes but I just leave it out, the fruit is sweet enough on its own. The book is hardback with lovely photographs on every page and very simply written recipes which are easy to follow.

Ok, but glad I got it cheap.
My 3 year old and I make ice lollies every week.
Read it, looked good but never used it.
Everything has too much sugar.
But it gave me ideas on how to do our own sugar free ice lollies.

This book came so quick, great recipes and photo's. purchased on recommendation read, not disappointed either. Just retired and getting back into cooking... have ice cream maker in loft never used...will be now. I need to say that you don't NEED an ice cream maker to use this book.
