Poorly organised & misleading,

I am a huge fan of AA spiral bound guides & usually buy them for my trips. Bought this one from Amazon marketplace without looking at the book in a bookshop- big mistake! It is poorly organised, & rather old fashioned in style. It suggested a great beach- Benirras in northern Ibiza, but failed to show it on a map! Maps included were too small to be effective. Took day trip to Formentera as recommended. When we got there the buses had stopped for the afternoon, which was not clear from the book. We took a taxi to The Blue Bar at Platja Mijorn, rather than the walk suggested by the guide book. The walk would have been a complete nightmare- miles down dusty tracks in the scorching heat, with no signposts. No mention of distances in the guide book. If you had taken their suggestion with children in tow, with beach bags etc, you would all have sunstroke! Buy another guide book, but check them out in a bookshop first.
