ian hunter's solo album which catches you're eye start away with the fantastic cartoon like cover, it makes you want to buy the album and put it in a frame and put it on you're wall..well and the music on the CD is classic hunter and it stands along side any of his effort's with the hoople the genius of the lyrics are just jawdropping witty and meaningful it's a sentence i don't say very often,
from the opening track "once bitten twice shy" too the closing track "I get excited" you know this album is a masterpiece up there with bob dylan's "highway 61 revisited" and george harrison's "all things must pass"
it's an another album that takes you on a journey through stories fantasties and lizards
it's one of them albums you'll play over and over again and not get bored with it, hearing the vocals wave and the guitars weave in and out in a fashion that's cool,
hunter was never shy!!
