This simple little cloth makes life much easier when ironing - essentially you can just turn the iron onto 'Cotton', turn the steam up to full and iron away! It prevents shiny marks on dark garments, and minimises the marks where layers underneath show through. I used one of these all the time when my children were younger, as lots of their tee-shirts and sweatshirts had logos which melted - not with this little cloth.
I recently took one of these on a cruise, and on formal nights, where we were all trying to press crushed evening wear, everyone was most impressed with it, and I nearly 'lost' the ironing cloth several times!
I still have a similar one, but bought this twin pack, one for my daughter to take to university and one as a spare - but I'm sure it will be passed on to a friend before too long.

When I first used this cloth, bought about 3 weeks ago, I thought it was great. Unfortunately when I tried to use it last week, with the iron set on steam, the iron went straight through it and lots of tiny bits of plastic were all over the irong board.
This was a pack of 2 and I will carefully try again - just be careful the iron is not too hot when you first put it onto the cloth. If you run the iron on the board first it could be a good idea, that's what I will try

Great buy for the domestically challenged
I haven't ironed my husbands dress trousers shiny again yet. I gave one of the two cloths that come in the pack to my sis in law, but I think I might need to get another one soon... Read more
