Users of free-1 simply need to speak in a normal tone to utilize the anti-crosstalk technology. Crosstalk is when 2 different voices or sounds are being transmitted simultaneously Crosstalk can cause static, delays and/or echo which detracts from the conversation.
To prevent such cases, free-1 is created with the hollow mouthpiece structure. This design allows for optimal distance between the speaker and mouthpiece to minimize the chance of echo. The hollow mouthpiece design creates a more realistic experience rather than speaking over the internet.

Length :151mm Width :38mm Height : 25mm Cable length :2.5 m (8.2 ft) The phone is actually increddibly small, much smaller than i thought it would be. Which, of course, is a good thing! The voice quality is fantastic. Compared to a mobile phone the amount of sound that the IPEVO picks up is excellent and the quality is crystal. The system is very easy to use. You can access skype, scroll through the menus and dial contacts without the need to use the mouse or keyboard. Pretty quick if you're making lots of calls. The long cable is just right to reach from my pc (which is on the floor), up around the back of my desk and then i can lean back in my chair whilst using it. Excellent reach. The noises and sounds are great, and the simultaneous ringing on the phone and in speakers means that even if you don't have your pc speakers switched on you can hear the phone. Excellent product, easy to use and install, and it's nice and small so i can tuck it away when not in use!

Bought this after some research. We needed a Skype phone that was small and light but delivered on sound quality. This delivers, and is very well designed. Have ordered 8 more for the company.
