This has to be one of the worse DVD transfers ever made!.
The original VHS has better image and sound quality.
And that is sad, because this is a great performance by Australia's greatest rock act: INXS.
This classical show/tour deserved a much better quality. Not fair for one of the biggest rock bands in history.
On this DVD you'll find not only INXS, but also a series of other Australian acts that never really got to breakthrough overseas. Sad Jimmy Barne's (another Austarlian great) performance is not included.
This DVD features some extras: biographies and discographies are full of mistakes.
And the artwork looks like a South American bootleg.
The producers of this DVD should be ashamed of the work they've done.
I have given it 2 stars because of the poor quality. But INXS, who were about to conquer the world with their huge 'Kick' LP at the time this show was shot, deserve 5 stars for their performance. The late and great Michael Hutchence proves why he was (and still is) one of the biggest showmen in rock 'n' roll history.
Don't hesitate to buy the 2003 edition of the INXS 'Live Baby Live' DVD if you want to be blown away buy perfect image and 5.1 sound!.
