I got this to pair with my Logitech Harmony 1100, but it will work with any infra red remote. I didn't want satellite boxes, DVD player and AV receiver on display and they now reside hidden in a cupboard.
Set up was very easy. I drilled a small hole in the top of the cupboard and fed the four wires (plus power cord) down. All four supplied leads and the power cord are thin so no need to drill a big hole. To set up, you simply stick each of the four supplied wired receivers near the infra red receiver on the device and test with your remote.
The response rate is as good as the infra red receivers on the boxes themselves, i.e. I don't notice any delay in changing channels etc.
Using all four extenders very successfully.

The device is small and unobtrusive. It works well (as long as you're able to find the IR receivers on your other devices). Good product.
What can I say? Does its job and looks better doing it than their previous remote extender. I use this to control an amp I have behind a door in my home a/v setup.
