where do i start. christmas present for my 3 year old daughter this year.
Screen was tiny and the quality when lookin at the screen was very jerky and had a delayed reaponce. (bit like the 1st camera mobile phones when they came on the market.) Poor to say the least considering how far camera technology has came on within the last 10 years.
what put my 3 year old daughter off it was the fact it didnt have a flash and if there was no natural sunlight when you took a picture it always stated "To Dark" and no picture was taken.
went out on boxing say and bought the vtech kidizoom twist which was the same price but has a flash, games, and twisting lens which means you can take pictures of yourself and it has the option to expand the memory via SD slot.
My 4 year old was bought this camera for Christmas and both she and I are so disappointed with it. The camera is much smaller than it looks in the picture making it difficult for her to hold without getting her fingers across the lense. The screen is very small and very jerky so unless you hold it very still (which isn't easy at 4 years old!) you can't see anything. The view finder looks like it is made of perspex or something and when you look through it everything is distorted again making it difficult to see anything. There is no flash so it isn't very good indoors and there is no memory card slot so if you remove the batteries or they die before you download anything you loose any pictures you have managed to take. I don't expect a state of the art camera for the money but I do expect something usable - this isn't!
I did not have high expectations for this as it was a toy but as said before the lack of flash, tiny screen and its propensity to just shut down meant my three year old made her own decision. She put it back in the supplied bag and hasnt looked at it since. She was incredibly disappointed. We purchased a cheap normal camera and she is much happier with this. Do not waste your money onthis.
