In brief - I have had a nightmare with this alarm system, and more than just a one-off bad bit of luck. But here's the real conundrum - where on earth do you go if you want a reliable, user-friendly, alarm system that just works? None of them are manufactured by manufacturers that anybody has actually heard of. In my case, I needed wireless and I chose one of the few that conforms to the latest, most demanding UK British Standards kite mark. The ESP Infinite Prime is one of quite a small number that do. But today, 6 months after installing, I am on my 3rd control panel, because the previous 2 were faulty, I have had to replace 3 vibration sensors, 2 fire sensors, 2 outdoor IR sensors, and just when I thought I had cured everything, my flood detector has suddenly died, AND now my control panel light indicator showing the system is on, has stopped working, meaning I will need to replace with a fourth control panel. If a big brand electronics firm could step up to the mark and make an alarm system, I would happily pay triple the price.....
