This is the third set of character walkie talkies that my son has been given, they just don't ever seem to work. I would definitely suggest Fisher Price or Vitech I have seen those working well, they cost a little more, its the same old thing you get what you pay for. It is really dissapointing for the children when they open what looks like a really cool present for it to not work.

We bought this toy for our 3 year old son. After a frustrating start where all we could hear was noise, we realised that if you were using it with the car facing your mouth and kept it away from potential interference (such as wireless network receivers, baby monitors, etc), then it worked ok. No volume control is a bit rubbish, but for 12 quid, it's a reasonable toy. In hindsight, I think a proper walkie talkie would have been better.

Frustrating, they never work. Waste of money! My boys have had more fun using them as cars. Good idea but shame they don't do what they are supposed to.

sound is rubbish
they look nice and our grandson of 2 loves them because he loves everything that has to do with the movie characters of the Car movie. But this are supposed to be walkie talkies. Read more

Still no item?!
I ordered this item October 4th yet STILL had nothing! I am not happy and want a FULL REFUND yet there is no way to contact this seller!

waste of money
they never worked properly and my child get frustrated. A waste of money! Francesco didn't receive the signal and McQueen made a noise. we tried close to each other but nothing.
