WOW !
I cannot believe that this Bluray was released in this terrible state.
This product should never have been allowed to be released, it is that bad.
As a documentary it was never supposed to be very informative as the 3D spectacle was supposed to do the talking, much like all the other 3D IMAX films. So why would they release a film that has had such a bad 3D conversion done to it? Who knows ! They must have known that the 3D conversion had failed on this film so why release?
I have 7 3D Bluray films now and this is the first that has MAJOR problems. There are no scenes in the film that don't have depth issues, crosstalk, ghosting, glitching, convergence problems, shadow issues....the list is endless.
There are some scenes where I could remove my glasses and the picture on the screen looked the same (the museum shots particulary, which is a joke as they looked amazing on IMAX 3D) and some scenes where I had to remove the glasses because my eyes and brain were straining to make the 3D work and giving me a quite nauseous feeling, I would never had expected this after all the hours I have put in to watching 3D over the last few years.
I had high hopes for this Bluray as I saw it in London at the Science Museum and it looked awesome and left a memorable positive impression on me, please save your money and DON'T buy this, see it at an IMAX cinema instead.
If you MUST buy it I am selling my copy on a well known auction site right now, point taken?
