Book Description

Wayne Isaacs is today one of the best known faces on Psychic Television. This book tells his incredible story from a seriously disturbed childhood, where he was considered to be psychologically challenged to a period inside a secure psychiatric hospital. Wayne was hearing voices, seeing visions, accumulating information without recourse to any identifiable source, they said he was mad. Wayne was not mad, Wayne was a Psychic-Medium. This is his incredible story, told by Wayne himself in conjunction with international best selling author John G. Sutton who is also the feature editor of the voice of Spiritualism Psychic World monthly. This is the terrible truth of what it is like to have a very special supernatural gift in a hard materialistic world where outsiders are required to conform or else! Sad, funny, disturbing, thoughtful and true, this book will change the way you view psychic phenomena forevermore.

About the Author

I’M NOT MAD, I’M PSYCHIC Wayne Isaacs & John G. Sutton From his earliest childhood Wayne Isaacs experienced inexplicable, seriously disturbing phenomena that caused him deep emotional and mental stress. Attacked in the hours of darkness by his own toy monkey he did what any terrified young boy would do, he wet the bed. Night after night dark shadows haunted his little bedroom, unseen beings whispered in his ears driving him wild with terror. Eventually his parents took him to a psychiatrist, Wayne was considered to be psychologically unbalanced. This book tells the true story of one of the UKs best known TV Psychics who went from being an inmate within a secure psychiatric unit to incredible international success. You will be astounded by the honesty with which Wayne describes his experiences inside what at the time was termed a ‘mental hospital’. They said he suffered from Bi-Polar psychiatric problems, that the voices he was hearing were part of his illness but Wayne told them, ‘I’m not mad, I’m psychic’. It would take many years for him to prove this. This amazing book is full of incredible insights into just what it is like to be a child with paranormal powers when everyone thinks you are insane. There is humour in here too, strange stories about how Wayne met various odd characters on his way to understanding the true nature of his gift. At one stage of his young life Wayne ran away to live by the seaside at Margate where he was approached by a large Nun who told him he must be baptised in the name of The Lord Jesus. This was really weird as Wayne is Jewish but the Nun insisted and dunked him naked in a bath full of freezing cold water. When his landlord came in and saw Wayne minus his underpants being blessed by a gigantic Nun he ordered him out of the lodging house. 36 5 Star Reviews on Amazon ‘The funniest book I have read in years’ Spike Milligan ‘Astonishing, scary, illuminating and hilarious’ Psychic World

More About the Author

Authors Background

Mr John G. Sutton is an internationally published author/poet/songwriter and is best known for always being in deep water.

Thorsons/HarperCollins commissioned John in 1992 to write his biography of the psychic-medium James Byrne.

The book titled 'The Psychic World of James Byrne' sold well and featured a stage show A Psychic Experience at The London Palladium with John as his personal manager.

· In 1996 John was commissioned to write a book titled 'Psychic Pets' by the managing editor of Bloomsbury Books.

At the offices of Bloomsbury in central London John met J. K. Rowling, she had just been commissioned to write the first Harry Potter book by the same editor Barry Cunningham.

· Following the publication of 'Psychic Pets' John was asked to tour the UK media circuit appearing on many of the UK's most popular chat shows such as 'This Morning with Richard & Judy'. John also toured the USA appearing in New York on network USA TV for Fox News and the Walt Disney Corporation flew John to Florida to Disney World. There John appeared at The MGM Theatre filmed live for the Disney show Petsburgh USA screened on The Annimal Planet channel.

· When Barry Cunningham left Bloomsbury Books to take over as managing editor at Element/Penguin Publishing he asked John to join him and there followed three further commissions for children's books: 'Animals Make You Feel Better', 'Star Signs For You And Your Pet' and 'Do You Believe In Ghosts'.

· John was then approached by the psychic-medium Derek Johnson who uses the stage name Acorah, he asked John to become his personal manager. There followed a commission from Piatkus Books for John to write a biography and psychic development book titled 'The Psychic World of Derek Acorah'. John also negotiated with Granada TV for appearances by Derek on their network Granada Breeze. Following a USA visit by Derek organised by John that included an appearance at The Vogue Theatre on Hollywood Blvd produced by John and two DVD films co-produced by John it was time for Derek to go his own way.

· John has previously managed and produced the 1960s trouser splitting pop singer P J Proby who recorded some of John's compositions notably 'Stage of Fools' a song about Proby's wasted career. In 1990 John founded J'Ace Records and released the song as a 12" Single. This was followed by an 11 track CD 'Thanks' featuring P J Proby. However due to difficulties between John and Jim Proby the project was not a success. The recordings can still be heard on YouTube and purchased on Amazon or Ebay.

· John has been the feature editor of Psychic World the newspaper of Spiritualism since 1993 and still is writing a regular monthly column. John is also the webmaster and owner of the website WWW. which features many of his columns in the blog there.

· During 2012 John was invited to Budapest, Hungary to feature in a TV series titled Psychic Readings Live screen on network Ireland TV3. John did eight two hour shows featuring his psychic powers and was invited back to film again but the programme was cancelled.

· In December 2012 John wrote a biography of the UK TV Psychic Wayne Isaacs and this is titled 'I'm Not Mad, I'm Psychic' the book is available on Amazon Kindle and in paperback. The book currently has 31 Five Star Reviews.

John's work as a songwriter has recently produced a number of recordings in association with Dr. Lois J. Barin and Jack Wilce of Columbus, Ohio USA. Featured on this site is one such song 'FLOWERS' with lyrics by John and music by Lois J. Barin and Jack Wilce who also perform this very beautifully.

· John is now writing a series of autobiographical books based on his time working as a jailer in prisons such as HMP Wormwood Scrubs and Strangeways. The initial working title is 'PSYCHIC SCREW' you can expect these books to be tough, rough a really exciting true life crime and supernatural life story that will astound all.

5.0 out of 5 stars impressionable writing skills and content 15 Dec. 2012
By marm
Format:Kindle Edition
The book describes the struggles that Wayne Issacs has, as he stays loyal to keep his own identity and gift. Most would of succumbed and given in to the material world but he stays true to the messages he receives from the universe. The book is interestingly written by John Sutton with an injection of humour which doesn't make light of the journey but shows coping strategies used . The writing tells how simple things have spurred Wayne on to challenge the views and actions of others who have had their own agenda. A book that will help many who face similiar challenges and shows there's light at the end of the tunnel, which is what the book is about . i look forward to more books by this talented author

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic read 14 Dec. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
We are all born with a gift, whether we identify it, develop it and use it, is the hard part. When this gift is one which few people understand, you are classified as 'not normal'. In Wayne's case, mad. This book gives the reader an insight on what it is like to be born psychic and what he went through until he identified and developed his gift. John Sutton's telling of this story, is brilliantly written, informative, funny and sad. Be prepared to be entertained!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great insight into the life of a medium 29 Dec. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase

I was always skeptical about mediums and how they got their 'gift'. This answers it.

Clearly if you are able to communicate with dead people(let's not beat around the bush) then younare going to be a bit odd.

Wayne articulates his troubles and issues throughout his life very well and makes it a great read.

Very good book to those who aren't even interested in the psychic world!

This book made me laugh, cry, question and think. This book is a very easy read allowing your mind to be fully entertained. The author, John Sutton, has a truly unique way of telling the story of Wyane Isaacs who from a young age, did not understand what he was thinking to the present day where he is fully engaged with his psychic abilities. This book is a brilliant read for all, whether or not you believe our souls live on. This book tackles this in a relaxed and enjoyable way!! Don't miss out!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible 13 Dec. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Writing as an atheist, a sceptic about all psychic phenomena and a non-believer in the occult, I nonetheless found this book intriguing.
Mr. Sutton certainly presents the facts in a lucid way that would make one interested enough to seek out the Psychic World magazine that he edits in order to examine his theories further. Meanwhile, anyone looking for a ghost writer for their biography should look no further than John G. Sutton.

I believe in 'Life after Death', and although I enjoyed this book, I felt it was a bit far fetched at times. Wouldn't read it again, so it only gets 3 stars from me. Sorry Wayne.
