I have always enjoyed fantasy art, but I merely enjoyed looking at the pictures. I never really delved into the actual meanings of the works. That is, until I saw this book. I was shuffling through it at a local bookstore when something caught my eye. "Sailing Beyond the Sunset" I believe was the poem on the facing page. The artwork that followed was unlike anything I had ever seen. The picture actually seemed to have a soul of its own. I then started looking through the rest of the book and realized that each painting seemed to have a separate life force. The subjects appeared to me not as two dimensional drawings, but actual living beings frozen in time. Since then, I have purchased all three collections, as well as the Black Tarot. Thanks to this book I will never look at art in the same way again. I sincerely thank you, Mr. Royo.

Being a long time fan of Luis Royo's art work, I expected some of the same poses, same features and same colors in III Millenium. To my wonderful suprise, he has taken a dip in the deep end of his talents and emerged with fantastic, horrific and touching artwork. He is, without a doubt, a master at his craft and transmits feelings to the viewer that are like a raw slap in face. For those of us who appreciate fine art, there is no comparison.

Each drawing captures your imagination, and makes you wonder about the world he has drawn. Every detail contains some aspect of the story. A wonderful and brilliant book, if you love sci-fi and beautiful art you can't miss this book.

Definately well worth buying - full of his usual sensual and dark illustrations. A very worthwhile addition to my bookshelf - this one will be looked at again and again!
