Shaped like a T-Rex Dinosaur he has holes for the tea to infuse through and a removable head to put the tea in through, there is also a handy "lead" to stop him getting away with your tea!
The T-Rex Tea infuser is placed in a cup or pot of hot or boiling water, allowing the tea to brew without loose tea leaves spilling into the pot or cup.
T-Rex tea infuser performs the same function as a tea bag. A tea infuser is a device in which loose tea leaves are placed for steeping. The tea infuser gained popularity in first half the 19th century. By the time of Queen Victoria no respectable British household would be without one.

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loved it when I showed it to her. It's difficult to empty which she says she'd get over if the tea leaves didn't manage to escape all the time. She even named him Duncan but I think I'll be buying her a different one and Duncan will be relegated to the windowsill for decoration. It's a pity, it was a fantastic idea.
This product is fun, it gets some great comments from work colleagues too. I have been drinking green tea for a few years now, this tea infuser is the worst/ best one i've owned ;-) it is not easy to fill cause the neck/load area is small, its a pain to clean out as the used leaves dont just fall out, and the wholes are too big so bits of green tea end up in my cup. To be honest though i have my ball type infuser to use at my desk and find myself using this one most of the time.

The major problem with Tea-Rex is that the infusion holes are way too big. As a result the brewed tea was full of tea leaves and it was impossible to drink, had to re-filter.
So I would recommend it as a decoration item, but not so much as a tea infuser.
