Book Description

9 Dec 2013
For each and every one of us, facing the future is an ordinary human condition, but what if hidden among the throngs of everyday commonalities were profoundly extraordinary possibilities? Nature, Essence and Creation–the fragile recipe for existence, rests on the balance of a unique trio of hope. Heli Clame doesn't know it yet, but he stands in the wake of a critical paradigm shift of the ages. Coming of age himself during a time of enhanced technology and decades lost to ecological devastation, he arrives at IDEA33 to join two others, Terra Sial and Dous Cistern. Unaware that together they hold the key to a positive evolution for the future here on earth, they soon learn their true identity and why they were created. The balance of all life on earth rests on the strength of their unity. Only then will they have the power to initiate a Regeneration.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a new author to watch and follow! 10 Dec 2013
By dee - Published on
Ms. Henke is definitely a new author to watch and follow! There are so many layers of story that speak to ages from 3rd grade through forward thinking adults. For those who care about the environment, children as hope for the future, education, myth and "predictive" science fiction, this book is a delightful must read!

5.0 out of 5 stars From the top drawer 9 Dec 2013
By J. Sack - Published on
Being a volunteer for Food and Water Watch, I was curious how Ms. Henke would address the ideas of food and agriculture a hundred years into the future, and it is obvious that she did her research in creating a fictional but very realistic account. Many facets concerning this subject are being experimented with or are in the pipeline, so it was fairly easy for me to connect the dots between the story's timeline and my thought process of today's world. I loved the characters, even with perceiving that there would be both heartbreak and hope at the end of the story. All in all, from the top drawer.

4.0 out of 5 stars A clever look at the future 10 May 2014
By Jane Nicolet - Published on
New author Sheala Henke writes a fast-paced, forward-looking first YA novel. Her attention to detail and the clever approach she uses to introduce futuristic ideas will engage readers of all ages. I know a sequel is in the works so get ready for the continuing adventures of Heli, Terra and Dous.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good start for this series 25 Mar 2014
By Dean K Miller - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
A good opening book to an anticipated trilogy. Something brewing in the lives of three young adults and they are brought together to bring about a much needed change in the world. They know little or nothing about their "future" contributions and there is someone out there who is trying to stop them fulfilling their destinies.

Good characters, and intriguing setting help move this story along. YA fans should find this well worth their time.
