This is a wonderful book that when i first brought it, was mainly because i love cats. as i read this book i found myself going back to it again and again, a highly addictive book that reads like a work of non fiction. really well written and readable again and again, definately one book that will stay with me for life. five out of five.

I enjoyed reading this story, and couldn't put it down from the moment I started reading until the moment I finished the book. A girl dies in a bungie jumping accident, wakes up as a cat, and endures a series of good and not so very good times at the hands of a number of different humans, before finally falling in love with another cat, dying and becoming human again. It'll keep you entranced form start to finish. If you like cats/heaven/afterlife/reincarnation/a good read, then buy this book, you will not regret it.

I started this book with reservations as it looked as if written for children. Not so, although children would also enjoy it immensely. The young cat Penny was described so well and with such insight that I feel this book should receive great acclaim. The people and animals she meets, and the situations she encounters are riveting and give a new perspective to human and animal behavior. Start it and you will not put it down. You will see your own cat with new eyes and treat it with renewed respect. Louise Hudson is an amazing woman to write such a tale. Completely original and special. More please.
