Quirky style and many brilliant observations-i was gripped from the outset.For example pg.120 where we are at the school gymnasium and the class is being taken by the inspiring Hando San.
"`volunteer?`
fourty arms which could snap like brittle ice shot up."

I`d like to get to know more of P P Hartnett.
The title is honest yet is the one thing which could be improved upon.

This book was better than it's title suggested it would be. It's about the lifes of various people living in an apartment block in Tokyo. Some of it is a little over the top, but it is still an entertaining read.
