Product Description

Feature film for release Spring 2011 following four superbike riders through their dramatic British Superbike Season. They are the new GLADIATORS, battling at 200MPH, riding through torturous conditions and risking life and limb at every race meeting. Only one can be the true champion. Film score by David Vanian of the Damned, music by Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Manraze. The high-octane documentary intimately follows the great British hope, Tommy Hill, whose parents have sacrificed their home, holidays and finances to support his burning ambition to be Britain s number 1 superbike racer. Tommy commented, 'British Superbikes is motorcycle racing at its very best and this film shows that brilliantly. It's amazing to see BSB on the cinema screen. It's a massive sport with a great following - now hopefully people who don't know it that well can see what an incredible event it is . Alongside Tommy Hill, I,Superbiker is a revealing portrait of the highs and lows of fellow racers, James Ellison, Josh Brookes and Gary Mason, riding through torturous conditions and risking life and limb at every race meeting. Motorcycle fans and thrill seekers alike will be able to experience the gladiatorial speed, strength and tenacity of the riders as they battle their way through the dramatic 2010 BSB Season. The film s writer, producer and director Mark Sloper of 400 TV commented: I wanted to capture the emotion and passion of motorcycle racing a classic motorcycle racing film that might be set in the 2010 season but can still be fresh in years to come . He added, 'I also wanted it to appeal to people outside of the motorcycle industry and fan-base. And I wanted to try and change outsiders perceptions of motorcycling . Special features include: 'I, Superbiker Premiere: Leicester Square', 'Gary Mason's Lap of Brands Hatch', 'James Ellison's Road to Recovery', 'Training with Tommy Hill', 'Josh Brookes is King of the Mountain' and 'Theatirical Trailer'.

BUY SUPERBIKER!!! 18 Mar 2011
By AH007
Format:DVD
I'd been waiting to see I, Superbiker for ages and I finally got my chance this week, and all I can say is wow!! This film really does not disappoint and in fact exceeded all my expectations!! Right from the start you know you're in for a treat with an action-packed intro sequence setting the scene for these boys to kick-ass on the track. Throw in a great theme-tune and some spectacular crashes and....well I won't spoil the rest but it is superb!

Biking fans will simply love it as it totally captures the roller-coaster ride of the season, but I feel there's so much for people not into the sport too. You follow these guys away from the track with their families and girlfriends and really get a sense of what it means to them and everyone around them. They want to win, simple as! Coming 2nd is just not an option for anyone!

I saw this at the cinema and don't normally buy too many films to watch at home, but this one is a must. But don't just take my word for it, there's loads of people out there raving about it from other cinema goers to the national press. It's great to finally have a biking movie out, and a damn good one at that!!

Incredible!
An overview of the 2010 BSB season, not as good as TT3D but still a good watch in it's own right.

Spinal Tap for Superbikes
This is like a spoof, but without the humour. I couldn't put one star because I still enjoyed it as I'm such a geek about bike racing, but it was disappointing. Read more

Terrible
This was a huge disappointment.

I pre ordered and was very excited but its just clips from Eurosport cobbled together very poorly. Even Josh Brookes said it was poor. Read more
