On this limited edition CD single release instead of the original version of I Shall Overcome we get the Axwell Remix. It's actually a really good version and has a very 80s, almost New Order feel to it and is all pulsating electronics and i think would sound even better in the summer. It uses very little Richard's vocal but on the whole is a fantastic contemporary dance track that never feels too quirky or random. Great mix!

Don't Wanna Fight is a pretty stripped back, ska-tinged track. Perhaps not quite as good the b-sides on the CD 1 but is very much the typical Hard-Fi sound we all know and love and is a nice extra for fans who buy this Cd as is the video of the lead track which is also included on here.

(This is CD 2 of a 2 CD set. CD 1 has a green cover, CD 2 has a yellow cover)

I Shall Overcome was a track i immediately picked out as a highlight when i first listened to Once Upon A Time In The West. It's an immaculately produced song that presents a more reflectful side to Hard-Fi. From the driving guitar & rhythm element in the verses to the gospel tinged chorus's this has won its place as one of my favourite tracks of theirs. The chorus is haunting as Richard sings 'Love is here and i won't let you down, stand your ground... all the plans against you one by one come undone'. The song has a timeless quality about it and i love it!

The lead track is complimented perfectly by two b-sides, which is a fantastic prospect as Hard-Fi are one of those artists that cosistently come up with brilliant b-sides. Empty Streets is a near 6 minute long epic with hints of the Stone Roses about it mixed in with those classic touches of dance elements that Hard-Fi do so well. Pain In My Heart is a haunting piano ballad, very moving and fits perfectly in with the sound of the Once Upon a Time In The West album.
