I have read all the recent Hurwitz novels and think they are brilliant-well-written, with the author dragging the reader along for the roller-coaster ride.

This, however, one of the writers earlier efforts, is just too confusing. I didn't understand where I was being taken and what was happening (and I don't think I am dim!)

As a result, it is probably the first book in a long while that I have given up on.Destined for the dustbin or a charity shop I am afraid.

Given the success of his other books, I am really disappointed by this effort.

after having read a number of his books i was looking forward to not being able to put this book down. What a dissapointment i couldn't wait to actually put this down through utter boredom!I persevered as i was convinced it would all come good but having to wait until the final chapter for a mediocre ending was very disappointing.

I ordered this book after reading "You're next", which I really enjoyed. However I found this book really boring. I ended up skipping out a lot of it as I just wanted to finish it.

Keep looking over your shoulder!
From page 1 I was spooked by this clever novel, told from a very vulnerable angle. A great work.
