Jennifer "Jenn" Randall has led a secret and double life for years. Knowing he isn't going to kill Jenn, keeping his brother from messing everything up, and figuring out how he can become human and keep Jenn might just be more than Blake can handle. Jenn, on the other hand, is trying to keep from believing all the signs that her husband is a demon. Even if he is, what is she going to do, as she is so in love with him, not to mention he is the best lover she has ever had? It's all in a day's work for a Protector.
I Married a Demon is the first book in the Para-Mates series by Beverly Rae and it definitely won't be the last that I read. I love how Ms. Rae is able to have a spunky character who takes life at a blinding pace and head-on, but at the same time be funny and loving. I think the idea of a secret society is fun and at the same time sort of scary. But overall, I Married a Demon has all the ingredients to make a successful and fun story, as well as the great start to a new series. I think you will like Jenn and the rest of the characters in I Married a Demon.
