This is an amazing book if you like meatballs. I have many cookbooks so was not sure if I needed one just about meatballs. How wrong was I! I make meatballs on a fairly regular basis and not just the Italian kind, but this opened up a new world of meatballs to me. The first recipe I tried was one where you dipped them in egg and breadcrumbs before cooking. My husband said they were the best ones he had ever tried and I agree. The book is divided into chapters based on how the meatballs are served, such as starters, soups, in bread, with pasta etc. There are recipes from all over the world in here, the first chapter has Swedish, Greek, Vietnamese, Spanish, Thai, American and Chinese recipes. The variation continues in each chapter. There are also very good information on the different kinds of meat to use and the best techniques to use. There are also many recipes for sauces, salsas and dips to accompany the meatballs. It is rare that I buy a book where I have not seen one recipe I wouldn't try. My only problem now is which one to try next.
