A lovely illustrated book which is simply written. My grandaughter loves joining in and telling me what the animals are doing.

We think the pictures are good because the animals are all smiling and it makes us smile too! We enjoyed strutting around the classroom like the turkey. We liked the doing words. We enjoyed changing them to our own - we thought the cow might be kissing her tail and the cat polishing her kittens. We do want to know, 'Who is Finbar?' Can you tell us?

Beautiful, large pictures and simple text.

This book was the only one my daughter wanted me to read to her for months, even when she was under one. I would just recite the simple text of the book and it would make her smile. The book is great because of the large colorful pictures of adorable animals and the uncluttered pages are easy for a toddler to focus on. Be prepared to read it over and over!

My 13-month-old daughter loves this book. We've had it out from the library for 2 months now and she hasn't gotten bored with it yet; I have to return it soon but plan to get it for her for Christmas. I think I enjoy the lovely illustrations as much as she does; the simple words (along with my animal noises) make her smile and move quickly enough to keep her interest. The chunky pages are durable enough to stand up to her abuse as well. This is a new favorite!
