I J Black

Isabel Joely Black was born in the Midlands and grew up in a smallholding in Shropshire, then the south coast. She has a PhD in geography, and taught for some time at Lancaster University. She now lives in central Manchester. She is a member of the local Skeptics Society, manages book clubs and loves the gym where she runs and swims regularly.
