Like what appears to be everyone else here, I first heard Bif Naked on the Buffy album. Having read some other people's reviews here on Amazon, I was unsure whether or not to get it, with Lucky being the only song of it's type on the CD. After weeks of pondering, I decided to go for it, and I am really glad I did! She does screaming punk-rock chick and soulfull songstress both with incredible ease. Tho' there are only two of the latter on the album, which I hope will change with her next album. The lyrics on all the songs are original and interesting, with "Sophia" and "The Peacock Song" springing to mind because of their memorable lyrics. Those of you still unsure, even after reading the reviews and listening to the clips, (unluckily for me I couldn't listen to the clips so I had to go by reviews alone) just go for it! Even if this isn't your type of music (it's not really mine either) give it one week and it'll grow on you. Bif's not popular over here and I haven't even heard of her from america, which is a pity, because she isn't just another angry rock chick wannabe, she truly is original. Don't pass her by.
