4.0 out of 5 stars Good value for money! 31 July 2012
I ordered one of these tablets and it arrived in perfect condition. I did have to play with the firmware a little, it took all of 90 seconds though. You can open the Google Play store up simply too, just google it. MicroSD and HDMI out all work perfectly and charges over USB too. If I had a gripe it would be the 2.5mm headphone jack. I have ordered an adapter and all necessary cables for less than a fiver from Amazon.

My main use is watching videos on the Tube and some browsing and YouTube around the house, for that it is perfect. It seems a good build and fits in my back/inside pocket. Since buying one, several of my colleagues are impressed and have ordered one too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very good. In theory. 25 July 2012

With the Google Nexus costing only a few quid more, the main question is why you would buy this tablet when the specs are lower.
I bought it for the HDMI out and ability to take storage cards, neither of which the Nexus offer.

So how reliable are the sellers? Well the tablet I was sent had some signs of use on it - very slight scratches on the screen (not noticeable enough to warrant sending back) and the box was in poor condition. I contacted the seller who said this was from their quality assurance procedure where they check the tablet works and Anglicise the ROM. They offered a case and a memory card as compensation, which I accepted rather than returning it.
Incidentally, this is a Chinese tablet, so take the Hyundai brand as a pinch of salt as it's not the same Hyundai as make the cars.

The tablet did come with a UK adapter for the charger and had a screen protector on (obviously fitted after the scratches) which didn't quite cover the screen. It also came with a USB-on-the-go adaptor cable and a normal mini USB cable (you can charge the tablet over USB).

How good is the tablet?

Physically, it's an attractive tablet. It's thin and has a metal back and it's light and comfortable enough to hold. There's no stand on it, and I haven't yet tried watching a whole film on it so I can't say if that would be a physical ordeal or not. Looks wise, it looks a bit like something Sony would have designed. The glass on the screen is quite reflective and does smudge easily. I'm buying a matte protector to address that issue.

The tablet came with the manufacturer's firmware installed and several Chinese apps. The performance is pretty zippy for a single-core 1.2GHz tablet (it can, in theory, be overclocked).

1.0 out of 5 stars learn chinese first 19 July 2012
Verified Purchase
This tablet is excellent. BUT the instructions are only in chinese. It came preloaded with google market etc (in English) but gave the message ' Unfortunately, google account manager has stopped.' Checked out this and found when I tried to download and run new copy of google market that this devise WAS NOT SUPPORTED by google and therefore won't access apps via playstore etc. BUYERS BEWARE.
I now have to find how to return the item to CHINA!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Fell apart after fifteen months. 15 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase
Was initially pleased with the tablet and used it occasionally for the first few months. I left it in a box unused for the last year and when I opened it recently, the screen and top half of the tablet had come apart from the base. I wrote to the seller LOL-BUY but received a rude reply stating that I had broken it and that I now wanted a replacement. I can categorically state that I have not touched the tablet for the last year and the Sale of Goods act states that any item purchased should be fit for purpose and last a reasonable time such as five years. I would avoid purchasing anything from LOL-BUY as their customer service is non existent.
