5.0 out of 5 stars MUSE RELEASE YET ANOTHER STUNNING SINGLE 29 Oct 2001
Format:Audio CD
This excellent double A-side shows that Muse are still on top form, Hyper music, in my opinion, is one of the best songs taken from their "Origin of symmetry" album, It starts off with Matt messing around on the fret board and then goes into an absolutely storming basline with Chris on top form. The chorus sees Matt's voioe soaring with the lines "you know that i don't want you and i never did" obviously referring to his beached hair he had at one point. "Feeling good" is a slower song but one of the best covers I've ever heard, I liked the Nina simone original but Muse make it their own and even, dare i say, better than the original. Apparently this was one of Matt's mother's favourite songs and is sung with plenty of passion. I suggest you buy this as soon as it comes out and help muse have the succes they so rightly deserve

Well, this song is obviously fantastic. It's by Muse after all. The chorus is nice and mean, but I think it's pretty funny. They have the amazing ability to shock me when I least expect it. The fairly normal chorus of 'I don't want you and I never will' made me laugh, but as it approached the end, he came out with 'I don't love you and I never will', this shouldn't matter, but it makes me feel like there's more to the song than I at first thought, and it seems truly cruel. Excellent bass, catchy riff, pounding drums and stabbing vocals. Shouldn't be missed by anyone.
