As pioneer of plant grow light, with continuous development and improvement after 3 years of experiences accumulation, our LED Plant Grow Light cooperator have completed 6th generation Quad-band 90w UFO in 6:1:1:1, we use 660nm red which is the best spectrum for plant flowering and fruiting (standard 620nm 630nm red LED isn't in peak points and also cheaper than 660nm), our 450nm blue is maximum peak points for vegetative growth and absorption, 610nm orange can meet the lower nm rating to make leaf larger and the flowers more brilliant as well as attract insects pollination for raising fruiting, white LEDs provide fill for all missing spectrums and add Lux.
Up to now the only popular choice for indoor growers has been Sodium (HPS) or Halide (MH) lights which both produce a very wide band of lighting. However less than 10% of a Sodium or Halide lamps output is actually used by the plant.
With the advent of LED lighting, we can custom tailor the output of the lamp to match exactly the band of light required for Chlorophyll production! This means that almost 100% of the power input for our LED GROW LIGHT is used for plant production. Also the directional LED's ensure 100% of the light is pointed downwards - they do not rely upon reflective materials to direct the light.
The LED GROW LIGHT can be used by itself for all cycles of plant growth (covers 9-25 square feet or a 3'x3' to 5'x5' area, same as a 400w HPS system).
LED lights are currently being used by NASA for growing plants in outer space!
