Took quite a while in choosing which cover to get for my Galaxy S. (got a brownish one not a white one as displayed on my review page). Read quite a few reviews and finally decided on this one. I've been very pleased with it. It adds very little bulk to the phone - which is handy for us blokes as we keep phones mainly in our pockets. I noticed some of my lady colleagues had the full coverage leather type cases - which I imagine would better suit their handbag carrying ways. Grip is good, in a Goldilocks sort of way - not too sticky, not too slippy - juuuuust right ! I think I read in some reviews that the cover affected the buttons and I would agree to some extent. The on/off button needs pressing slightly more than usual. However, I switch on in the morning and off at night so I only do this twice a day and my general feeling is that I can live with it. The volume/zoom in+out button is slightly more of an issue for me as I take quite a few photos, but again it's not that big a deal.
I've read people say that they wouldn't like to drop the phone on it's corner with this case. I agree that I wouldn't like to drop my phone on it's corner either, but I feel that the case would do it's job (this opinion is in no way scientific, it's just a feeling and I cannot be held accountable if you do break your phone!).
Last point= dust. Also read people moaning about dust and lint/fluff from pockets collecting in nooks and crevices between case and phone. Yup, it happens. My solution: take case off, blow and rub fluff away, replace case. This once a fortnight regime works for me and takes approx 10 seconds. Sorted.
So to sum up: I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to most pocket carrying members of the public. (If only I was so happy with screen covers - which are the bubble ridden bane of my existence!)

fits well and works well, but from the description and the pictures I had expected it to be white, as in glossy, solid colour. I think the description which I would give of the colour is 'clear', otherwise an excellent product well priced.

lovely! but a little not lovely
it is more clear than white and has little if not no grip, however is a very stylish case and protects the phone from many incidnets.
