Format:Audio CD
Being a fan of Linkin Park, I thought this album was great. Disk 1 is the album hybrid theory (I won't repeat what the other reviewers have already said). I would rate this part only 3 stars, I prefer LP's Meteora.
However, listening to Disk 2, which includes 'High Voltage' and 'My december', made me change my mind. These songs are actually taken from Linkin Park's orginal album, Hybrid Theory EP (which not many people know about). Unfortuately, H.T EP is very hard to get hold of now unless you're willing to pay very large amounts of money for it, so this is the next best thing.

this cd is the most amazing one in my collection. With mike shinoda incredible fast raps and Chester Benningtons amazing talent of being able to sing one minute and scream the next hybrid theory earns its self a honorble 5 stars. I love cure 4 the itch, in the end, and forgotten. I can honestly say there isnt 1 track on the whole album that i dont like. If you like this u should go buy the papercut single cuz it has 2 really good songs (my december & high voltage) off the limited editon hybrid theory ep which you can no longer buy which was relesied when the band used 2 b called hybrid theory.after listening to this cd i became a fan and am going 2 c them in manchester. And this thing bout them being made by the same people as steps is soooooooo not true.

Hybrid Theory is a mix of rap and rock which is unusual but cool. The album has twelve songs each sounding the same but are all great in their own way. If I were to compare this album to the likes of Infest by Papa Roach I would say that it's twice as good. If you like new-metal music you'll love Hybrid Theory. I think that it is the best album I have ever heard. What gives this album the edge over every other album is the rap that is tied in with it by Mike Shinoda which goes very well with Chester Bennington's vocals and if you don't like music with explicit lyrics this album is perfect because there isn't a single offensive word. I suggest that you go and buy this album if you like new-metal!!!!

Love it.....
I'm not into Nu-metal/hard rock/rap etc usually but just love Linkin Park. Enjoyed their most balladic stuff - shadow of the day - and minutes to midnight so bought hybrid theory... Read more
