5.0 out of 5 stars I can't believe I didn't watch it sooner. 1 Mar 2012
Format:DVD
I had convinced myself that this program would not be for me. Seven series past by until one day I saw a trailer for the latest series. With nothing else to watch my partner an I gave it a go, and we could not believe what we had been missing.

Every episode is different, and unlike other films, programs I usually have it worked out before the end comes, but not with Hustle. It is so well cast and you are never let down by any of the acting.

I just had to buy this box set, which is a steel. At least six episodes per series x seven series for 35 ! Only bad thing I have to say about Hustle is they have decided to not make any more.

5.0 out of 5 stars The con is on! 25 Jan 2012
By B. Russell TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:DVD
The con is on in this boxset as you can enjoy all 7 series of Hustle from start to finish. Every single episode with twist your wit to its extent as you try and figuire out how the con-artists have managed to pull off the amaxig cons. The role of the conners is clear from a quote from the recent series "We rob from the rich... and buy nice clothes - its not quite as legendary but we look great".

Series 1 - 4 (with the original crew including Mark Warren) was some of the best Drama britian has ever seen. The gang, at this time consisting of Ash, Mickey, Danny, Albert and Stacie took on some of the most lucrative cons known to man and made sure that no selfish person got of lightly. However I would like to say that Series 4 did suffer slightly due to the absenoce of Adrian Lester (who plays Mickey Stone) - even though he does return in Series 5

Series 5 - 7 contain the modern and up to date crew of Mickey, Albert, Ash, Emma and Shaun. They use every trick in the book to make sure they get what they want - and to be honest it's extrodinary. All together this is an excellent boxset and one I would definatlly reccomend buying!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great collection for an amazing price! 12 Jan 2012
By Melbo
Format:DVD
I've already got seasons 1 and 2 of Hustle, which are just fantastic, but buying this box set works out so much cheaper than buying them individually. Such a great price!

I can't wait for series 8 which begins on TV this week, but am happy to buy it separately, as it'll probably be around April time before that comes out on DVD.

This is a great set to keep you going. Would Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Consistently entertaining 29 Jan 2012
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This is a very good buy. There are 7 very slim cases with 2 DVDs in each and extras. I got it because I had not seen the ones before Series 7 and it was a brilliant way of catching up on the ones before that. Not sure I understand the review saying just wait for the lot as the whole point was to catch up first before seeing Series 8. Anyone who wants to keep the whole lot can surely just buy Series 8 to add to this I would have thought.
Anyway, lots of ingenious plots and guest actors as "The Mark" in each episode. All well acted and delivered. Some qualms about theft being glamourised particularly in 'The Henderson Challenge' one and the moral ambiguity of the whole thing but if you treat it as light entertainment in a Sting type genre of unpleasant people being relieved of their money it is consistently entertaining. Think too deeply and there is an uncomfortable complicity because you like the characters and group dynamics of Eddie, the crew and 'contacts' and don't want them caught which catches you then into accepting that "Grifting" is an acceptable occupation which it is not... I am guessing they may have to come to a sticky end in the end to show that crime does not pay but you can't help but feel you want them to escape somehow...
