These boots are just fab!! They are calf length not ankle as description suggests. They are so comfy, feel solid and the fit is great. There is a wedge but I can still run after the kids and not worry about slipping or falling over as I would with usual heels. I'd buy these again and again!!!

I've just received these boots in black and am delighted with them! I actually like them much more in the flesh than I did in the pictures. As others have said, they are mid-calf boots, the height of the shaft measuring along the zip is just under 13 inches (33cm), or just under 15 inches (38cm) including the sole too. If you are quite short like me (5'3) they actually come up a bit higher than mid-calf, which is what I wanted anyway. Also as others have said, if you are looking for flat boots don't be put off by the stated heel height of 55mm, they really do feel pretty much like flat boots, and that's coming from someone who hardly ever wears heels! The fit around the calf is just right on me, think I must have quite chunky calves! The leather is lovely and soft and they seem very good quality.
Update- I liked these boots so much I also ordered them in brown, but strangely the fit was different, they were noticeably tighter around the calves, particularly on one boot which measured almost 1cm less around the top than the other. Presumably this was a one-off fault as I re-ordered and the next pair they sent were fine, the same fit as the black.

These are not ankle boots as title suggest but come mid calf. They are exceptionally comfy, and so good in the ice and snow, I haven't taken mine off since they arrived! I haven't slipped over once, the rubber sole makes you feel so secure, and the wedge is not a high one or very noticeable as other reviewers have said, these really should be described as flat boots.
Thye are a little wider and rounded at the toe than I would normally buy as I have narrow feet, but if you have wide feet these would be even more perfect as there is plenty of wriggly toe room at the end!
Quite a generous calf width at the top too, with an elasticated vent, so should fit most people well unless you have really skinny legs!
Great buy, excellent value, not dressy up boots, but they do look ok under smarter trousers, better with jeans or skirts with thick tights, not wide enough to tuck inside jeans which is a shame though!

very bad tight boots

Nice enough, but NOT knee high and wide on the calf
These are good as high-calf boots on wider legs, or with skinny jeans, but short and loose otherwise. Decent quality and comfortable insoles.
