Hurry Up and Wait is probably one of the best tracks on Performance & Cocktails, with its slow acoustic guitar and lyrics about an abandoned wedding. The cover of the Rolling Stones track Angie works well, Kelly Jones' vocal roar is well suited to the track. As mentioned the third track is the worst kind of single filler. All they have done is taken I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio (a terribly uninspiring track in the first place, and replaced Kelly's voice with a tinny annoying gravelly whine (it can't be called singing) by drummer Stuart Cable. Once again, prrof that no band can stretch to 5 singles worth of new material for an album.
