Rock You Like A Hurricane is an erotic romance novella from JoAnne Kenrick. It tells the story of American rock star Ryker Conall. It's 1989 and he's back in Australia. He's staying at the Darling Harbour Hotel, chosen specifically because Sadie Fox works there. They had a fling back in 1985 and he's keen to rekindle things. The trouble is, Sadie's not.

Ryker left her high and dry - not to mention brokenhearted - all those years ago and all she wants to do is keep away from him and his band until they've gone. However, it's part of her job to look after them, so she intends to do the best she can while keeping her distance from Ryker. She has no intention of getting hurt again. But Ryker's a very determined man. And when a hurricane moves in, there's only so far Sadie can run, and Ryker's definitely up for the chase.

Wow! Rock You Like A Hurricane certainly lives up to its name. It was interesting to read something that's not contemporary, but not historical, either. I loved the premise, the characters and the banter between them. The story is almost like an elaborate game of cat and mouse, with some surprising developments. I loved the twists in the tale which delayed the story's resolution and made you wonder just how it was going to end. This is a fun, surprising, well-written tale with some absolutely scorching hot sex scenes that'll definitely make you want to step into the characters' shoes. Delicious.

Well Crikey what can I say !! It certainly Rocked me like a Hurricane, a whirlwind of goodies all wrapped into a quick read.

I read Rock you like a Hurricane In one sitting and must say it was *hawt * I really enjoyed the romance between the characters, the electricity was scorchin ** waggles eyebrows** Candle lit moments where your toes will be curling and your eyelashing fluttering and wandering..... where you just might find that candle for you next romantic interlude ** snickers ** Ryker and Sadie will not only rock each others world but yours Im sure !!! grins !

Loved all the getcho moments, the flash backs to latex and Kylie Minogue moments made me giggle !! Even the shoulder pads ** I can remember myself wearing these lol )

A read filled with moments where you will be giggling and other moments where Im sure you will be swiftly flipping those pages to find out more !.

A storyline that will have you intrigued from page one, set in the 80's , Bon Jovi style rock singer hot to trot and a hot headed babe - who I can tell you was not as easily swayed !! lol.. Ryker was a man on a mission - to get the girl he lost 5 years prior - I love a man who knows what he wants,, he was certainly a treat ** wink wink **Sadie was set on giving Ryker a hard time , I found these moments quiet funny at times..

Jo has written a fluent sloryline with a great cast of characters, passion one could only want to find ** wink wink ** and chapters that fluently blend from one to the next. Set in Australia it was a treat for me !! Not often as a reader I get to read about the place I live in ....

So in the darkness of the night, when a hurricane comes a knocking at your door, remember the candles and the music and Im sure thats not the only tune you will be heariing !!

Joanne Kenrick brings you a sweet short and at times sexy short read. Sadie who was once burned, twice shy, can't help herself to try and get a glance at Ryker and the Sirenics when she knows they're at her hotel. Even if it's against her better judgment. Once Ryker, your typical hot 80s rocker, sees the woman he fell in love with, he becomes a man on a mission to win her over. I loved the 80's theme and the ghetto blaster bringing up songs that had me smiling. I found it a sweet story with well written main characters. Sadie had sass that had me laughing at times. While Ryker I could so see him as your typical rocker of that era. The passion between them was electric, so that when they finally got to hook up, the sheets were on fire. I now have a new idea of what I can do with a candle.
