Product Description

The exciting sequel to Immortalis Carpe Noctem.

Rule number one: humans and vampires don't co-exist. One is the hunter and one is the prey. Simple, right? Not for newly-turned vampire Alyssa. A surprise confrontation with Santino Vitale, the Acta Sanctorum's most fearsome hunter, sends her fleeing back to the world she once knew, and Fallon, the human friend she's missed more than anything. Now she has some explaining to do. However, that will have to wait. With the Acta Sanctorum hot on their heels, staying alive is more important than educating a human on the finer points of bloodlust.

I read the first book in a day and this was even better. I was on the edge of my seat, between waiting for the more background info on the characters and laughter. I can't fault this book, I have read the vampire diaries, sookie books, morganville vamps and this is now one of my favs along side sookie and Twilight.

If you enjoy paranormal stories this book has it all and more. Its a must have read for the beach. I can't wait for the next one....

The second book to the Immortalis series is just as good as the first as it continues to follow the story of newly-turned vamp Alyssa. She this time inadvertently brings her mortal best-friend Fallon right into the path of Acta Sanctorum warrior Santino. Still a good read and loved Lysander and Alyssa's relationship as they try to over-come Alyssa's 'magnet to danger' attitude. Bring on book three Pandora's Box.

These books are so good, as soon as I'd finished Book 1, I went strait into this one. Another great read. I loved the fact that they grew so close and fell in love. They idolised each other. It was so heart rendering, I laughed and even cried. She is such a magnet for danger, and poor Lysander tries to keep his anger down. He loves her though and only gets angry because he doesn't want to loose her. The way she is going she will get herself killed. I like her strong nature though, and that makes the story more believable. It grips you and you get entangled in the story, and again the writer took me there with them, running, fighting, laughing, and loving. I was so sad to get to the end, I didn't want it to finish, and then Great news, there is another one. That's it I went strait away to buy it, and Pandoras box will be as good as the others. How do I know that? Because the other two were brilliant, and Katie is a great writer. I'm off to read it now.
