Needless to say, Amazon and/or Hunter should have taken greater care when creating this listing. Here is the size info from Hunter's official website. Hopefully this will help all the frustrated potential customers like myself. I've rated the product 5* although the listing itself deserves much less.

Hi, i checked hunter official site and xxsmall child is for size 7-9 and xsmall child is for size 10-12, hope this helps anyone whos thinking of buying.

Well this product is really great - good quality, good price, beautiful colour and fits well. Size? This is where the supplier are losing custoners -and two stars-unneccesarily- as the sizing on the page says just S - for small. I took a chance in the ordering and on the side of the box it says S is 13-2 - this may help others who are interested in this product.

The sizing chart is useless as it doesn't say what sizes correspond with: XS, SM, M, etc. Put some thought into it please.

Hunter Kids Fleece Welly SocksPerfect.Fits into the boots very well and keeps your feet like toast.Daughter wears them around the house.she has a couple of pairs of these socks and they are hard wearing well worth getting.

I agree, I wanted to buy two pairs for my daughters but the size chart does not correspond to the small xsmall etc.

Having treated my son to a pair of Hunter wellies - he walks the dog with me every day come rain or shine - I chose these socks to keep his feet warm. They make his boots so tight that either I have to ditch the boots and buy the next size up, or forget the socks.I bought myself a pair at the same time and have the same problem. Two pairs of ordinary socks are the only option unless you want to buy a bigger size of wellies for winter wear.

This is a great product. OK the sizing is a little bit difficult but my daughter is size 6-7 and these do have room to grow but are not too big. Just make sure you have a welly boot that's a size bigger than shoes size, to allow room to fit the sock in as they are quite thick. They'll really do the job though if we get a freeze like last year. They are quite expensive though and Tesco etc are now doing welly socks at half the price (though I got 20% discount on these)..
