This is such a nice picture, and the size of the pieces is just right. everything is good except the quality of the cardboard which is thin and bends and cracks very easily (we're talking child consumer here!).
Another problem which was apparent as soon as we opened the box is that the pieces are all slightly concave so don't lie flat or connect properly even on a hardfloor or table. we tried flattening them under heavy books but to no avail.
my little boy found it so frustrating that we got rid of it.
Improve the quality and this would be top notch.

Simple, colourful and a great size floor puzzle for little ones, supplied in a chunky box with plastic carry handle too.
My daughter loves the fruit - it's the part of the puzzle she always starts with, and it also helped her learn to count to 5.
The pieces are bigger 'Jumbo' than normal size puzzles for this age group, but the strength of the pieces haven't increased very much with size, so I feel it could have been made from stronger board.
That said, my daughter still gets enjoyment out of it - it was a gift for her 2nd birthday and she's almost 3.
It's been played with a lot so even though the puzzle isn't as crisp as it once was, I can't complain.
By the way, after the puzzle is completed, my little one likes to dance and feel it beneath her toes (it is on the floor afterall...) I don't know if my daughter is the only toddler to do this, but it all adds to the fun!

Of the hundreds of pounds spent at Christmas this puzzle is one of our firm favourites. Good quality and worthy of the 'quality time' together with a child.

as good as the book
I bought this for my two year old grandson. He loved the book and DVD. He can manage to do the edges himself especially the fruit. This opens up conversation about the story. Read more
