A 'Hundred miles off' is a well produced album, after 'Bows and Arrows' I wasnt quite sure what to expect from this CD. The walkmen have improved as a band over the last few years and this CD is proof of that.

'Louisiana' and 'All hands and the cook' are stand out tracks on the album with great base lines. Hamilton Leithauser's voice isnt to everyones liking, but I would highly recommend this album

Bows and Arrows is still one of my favourite albums, but I don't really listen to this one any more. A few beautiful songs, but as an album it's a hundred miles off Bows and arrows.
