Humf is a furry thing. He is short and round and purple and cuddly. At three years old, Humf is full of wonder at the world, and is always eager to explore the new things he sees around him. Humf is thoughtful and self-reliant, but he also has a lot to learn. He listens to his Mum and Dad and he listens to his best friends, Loon and Wallace. Then he thinks about what they all have to say, but in the end he usually has to find out for himself. Humf knows what the questions are, even if the answers take a little longer to find. This Double Disc DVD includes the first 20 episodes of the hit show.

I love Humf. The stories are simple and beautifully read by Caroline Quentin. My 3 1/2 year old daughter is a huge fan of this gentle and funny furry thing and his friends. Humf presents the perfect way for her to wind down just before bed. Couldn't recommend more highly.

This dvd is excellent. The stories and characters are realistic even if they are monsters. There are morals in the stories and they investigate real feelings and thoughts of little children. My grandson loves them.

Excellent double DVD, with all 20 episodes from series 1 of Humf. Good value and a lovely show, suitable for the youngest child and very reassuring. Now, where are the Humf toys?!

Having recorded a lot of episodes of humf over the last 12 months, I will be so pleased to get a DVD with 20 episodes on!!!
My 2 1/2 year old absolutely loves humf and his friends, also mummy and daddy actually quite like watching too!!!
What with the lovely stories and opening theme song and Caroline Quentin's soft narrating, it's a joy to watch!!!

With its gentle theme song and simple stories broadcast in the wind down hour before bedtime, Humf as been one of my favourite guilty pleasures as I sit down and cuddle with the kids before putting them to bed. Aimed for the preschool market it tells the tales of a little furry thing and his best friends as they discover new things in the world around them. My son is 4 and still loves this as does my 1 year old. A great kids programme which should become a classic.

Humph is a cuddly little monster who lives in an apartment in a city somewhere. There is grafitti on the outside of his building but that doesn't matter because inside is filled with family and friends. The series subtly addresses issues such a sharing and feeling left out. There are a whole host of characters with great names such as Uncle Hairy, Wallace and Loon. The theme tune is so catchy that you will find yourself humming it in the supermarket queue. Caroline Quentin narrates perfectly and with a sense of humour. When Humph comes on the TV my little boy shouts "Mummy, your favourite furry thing is on". A good excuse for a sit down with your little ones.
