As I have said in the title, this book really is very interesting, and a great talking piece. I am an art student who studies design, and it really is a fresh book to read, not overloading you with information, and easy to flick through. It really is interesting as well.

Well we haven't. There are lots of things we don't miss till we've used the last one. Like paper clips, light bulbs or tea bags. Everyday things which are so every day that we don't conceive of them as never being there. Paola Antonelli has. Using some things as representatives of a group and others as individual ideas he has compressed a course in design and designers into this small tribute to both.
