5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant for Digital Terrestrial TV Reception, 23 Dec 2005
Wow! what can I say. This box outshines my earlier Mediamaster by spades. Built in EPG, Information Pane showing programme Summary, TV and Radio channels via dedicated button, Customise practically everything via Menu Button, Setup Favourits.

Beautiful remote controll which can also be programmed to act as TV remote also (I havn't tried this).

Check out your Aerial gets the Digital Terrestrial signal and enjoy

For the most part, an excellent box. Dead easy to set up and two SCART connections are a godsend. Remote can be programmed to turn your TV on as well. This worked fine up until recently, but has stopped for some reason.

Apart from this, my only reservation is that it does freeze up sometimes. You have to unplug it from the wall socket and plug it back in again, as it is hard-wired to a plug - you can't pull the power input out from the back. It happens about once a fortnight on average - irritating, but not terminal.

Of the three Freeview boxes I have, this is the best. A bit expensive, but overall probably worth it.

    By A Customer
had the humax f2foxt for a few weeks now as an upgrade from my freezing, jerking thomson box. as i am in a weak signal area i thought i would try the humax & it has been a really excellent product, my picture & especially sound quality are excellent now. the remote is good and programming a godsend if you happen to be away a lot, as i am. all in all a bargain.
