I have only dipped into parts of this book, but it is the one that Temple uses for her undergraduate students in Colorado. The drawings are excellent, and everything is done with precision and clarity, just like Temple's lectures and books in general. This book was cheaper on Amazon in the UK than in the US for some reason, but I live in the UK so that was convenient.
When you read Temple Grandin's books (I have read others of hers on animals and autism), it sometimes seems like she is just stating the obvious. But in fact what her books do is explain things clearly, without any dressing or "flannel". This comes across in her public speaking and her lecture style too. She is passionate about her work, and she conveys this in written form too. Truly a remarkable woman!
