I don't know what it is about this song that makes it so compelling. It's extremely catchy in the way its put together but I think its the strange, poetic and passionate lyrics and the language that really sticks with me. Although the main refrain doesn't seem to make any logical sense in the context of the song it acquires a depth of allusion over repeated listening that is weirdly moving.

I love this track, just what the phrase "Are we Human or are we dancer" means I could not give a monkeys about all I know is it's the hook that reeled me in and I now have a healthy respect for the Work of The Killers, not that I am in fact in favour of mass murder or anything like that I am every hopefull they mean it in a playfull artistic licence kind of way!.
