Well first off have some tissues by your side when you read this, it is certainly a very well written and emotional read. This mother that uprooted her entire family and moved to Thailand is a huge inspiration to me, she is very strong and brave. I feel this book is a real eye-opener to Human Trafficking. My favorite chapter is chapter 4 - Because It brought tears to my own eyes. When they were in city of Pattaya walking down one of the Soi's they were being stared and lured into countless bars and brothels. In the end her husband put their little Thai son on his shoulders and they experienced a completely different atmosphere, everyone became quite instead of shouting and swearing and one lady asked this family a question about why they had a adopted son. In their country they believe it is bad luck to bring someone up that is not blood related. But when the mother answered the lady she responded that it was because of love. and stranger then said could they adopt her too. She has obviously been in much emotional pain for a long time. That's what got the tissues out to me.
There is so much to this story it is a must read! It is emotional but very educational and there is nothing wrong with being aware!

This book will break your heart but the human spirit and the triump of good over bad will lift your spirits again. After reading this, one must surely get involved in trying to help in whatever way possible, even from a distance. That is my next stop.

This book was an eye opener. It breaks my heart to know that there are perverts who travel , cross state and country borders to prey on children.

I have always wondered what human trafficking entails. That's precisely why I decided to give this book a try. Now, after reading it, I must say it blew my mind. The things it contains are so tough and real that's difficult to comprehend how this things are even possible. Fortunately, there's more than that. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it's up to us to make it real. This is definitely an eye opener read! Highly recommended.

If you want to know the truth behind human trafficking, then this is a book for you. The perspective of a mother lends to the thrill and repugnant horror of the stories told. This book will wrench your heart, make you cry in frustration, and change your life: one cannot but want to help those sold into sex slavery after this read.
