This book is an excellent source of knowledge for the student of Human Resource Practice. It has been compiled as a teaching text for the CIPD Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice but can assist all HR assistants, officers, who haven't yet had the training. As a teacher on this programme, I am recommending it to all my 40 HR students and making it mandatory for the next academic year. So much together in one place, will save them hours of research and I can trust the knowledge they are picking up for doing their assignments.

Good overview of HR helped with coursework and the many activities and projects during the intensive CIPD level three course. Be aware it gets updated as HR legislation changes.
