Well written with real life examples of HCI in action. This makes it easy to relate the design of HCI to your everyday life. Helped me with several assignments on my BSc in IT.

I have read the book as part of my HCI course at University. Having never touched any aspect of HCI before, I found it gave an amazing insight into HCI. It also gave be the depth that I required, but in a very interesting and understanding way.

Excellent overview of Human Computer Interaction principles and, as one would hope, very "user-friendly".

The book is a bit dated as it does not cover HCI over networks, especially in relation to the Internet and WWW. I would hope that a new edition is coming soon.
