There are no words..., 20 July 2007
This review is from: Hulk Rules (Audio CD)
This album has stunned and silenced many a colleague. My own director, upon catching us in the act of listening to the album after hours on a work PC, was brought to utter the words "Did you know that man eats 28 egg whites a day?" (her voice choking at the impressiveness of such devotion to his physique).
But this album is not just about "the body" (though for those who are into "that kind of thing" - you're only human, right? - there are a choice selection of hulk poses on the album sleeve).
Indeed, it's all about the music. Take a trip to pleasuretown as you skip through a plethora of musical genres. Who says you can't mix rap with country? Only those who lack vision, this album - or perhaps Kenny Rogers*.
*This is of course pure conjecture. Don't sue me Ken!

Once a Hulkamaniac always a Hulkamaniac!, 14 Mar 2006
This review is from: Hulk Rules (Audio CD)
I must first start by saying I am only giving this album 5 starts because there is no 6 star rating!
With a furious power guitar onslaught this album kicks off in purest style, I feel weak at the knees, my heart is pounding and I feel a rush of energy surge through me, I feel revitalised and above all re-hulkfied!
The wrestler, icon, hero, actor, legend and now music god that is Hulk Hogan has something to say to you, something I think he could never express with his words in the squared circle or on the silver screen but now, though the beauty of music I think the Hulk finally found his medium, so sit back and strap yourself in for the emotional ride of a lifetime.
With the shear ferocity of rock, the grove factor of funk, the lyrical genius of rap and an epic, souring, life changing ballad have all been incorporated it this, surly the most multi-genre album of all time. I am sure I can hear the sound of his shirt ripping as he gets pumped up for songs like “Beach Patrol” and “Hulkster's In The House”.
This album is the single greatest masterpiece of bad-ass music ever to grace my stereo system and I suggest you all buy it immediately!
