A Transatlantic Look at the Post 9/11 World 11 July 2010
By Alyssa C. - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This was assigned in my British Politics class and I'm glad I had to read it. It explores the complex relationship which has been an ongoing process since the mid-century and how the events of 9/11 have further come to define the "special relationship." While the book is a bit outdated since the UK has seen the election of two PMs after Tony Blair, it does give a different perspective Americans are accustomed to in terms of how our transatlantic neighbors viewed the Bush administrations actions post-9/11.

For anyone trying to understand why France and Germany had a difficult time rectifying the Bush administration's decisions post-9/11 and the complicated relationship we have with the UK, this is a great primer.
