A very useful guide, complete with details of historic properties, including gardens, opening times, directions etc. This is a must-have if you're interested in visiting historic houses and their gardens. It covers not just National Trust, but Historic Houses Association, English Heritage, and a wide variety of other independent properties. Good for planning and full of colour photographs to inspire you.

About the best book of this type I have seen, it gives info on National Trust, English Heritage, Historic Houses Association and other lesser known properties. I shall not buy a copy every year in future but every 3 or 4 years.

We buy a copy of this book about every seven years. It arrived very quickly, in perfect condition, and at lower than shop price. What more can I say?
